Comprar sombrero o cinto en línea sin miedo es cuestión de dos medidas que sacas en casa en cinco minutos. Esta guía cubre las dos: cabeza y cintura, en centímetros y pulgadas, con los mismos números que usamos para confirmar cada pedido.

Cómo medir tu cabeza
- Usa una cinta métrica flexible (de costura). Si no tienes, usa un cordón y mídelo después contra una regla.
- Rodea tu cabeza por donde asienta el sombrero: un dedo arriba de las cejas y justo arriba de las orejas.
- La cinta debe quedar ajustada pero cómoda, sin apretar.
- Mide dos o tres veces y quédate con el número que se repita, en centímetros.

Consejos de talla de sombrero
- ¿Entre dos tallas? Elige la más grande. Un sombrero ligeramente holgado se ajusta con una tira de espuma en el tafilete; uno apretado no tiene arreglo cómodo.
- ¿Talla mexicana o americana? Es la misma cabeza con dos sistemas: México marca en centímetros (57, 58) y Estados Unidos en fracciones (7 1/8, 7 1/4). Usa la tabla para convertir.
- La prueba de ajuste: el sombrero debe asentar firme un dedo arriba de las cejas, permitir un dedo entre el tafilete y tu frente, y no moverse al sacudir la cabeza.

Qué significa la talla
La talla de un cinto es la distancia desde el doblez de la hebilla hasta el agujero central, no el largo total de la pieza. Por eso tu talla de cinto siempre es mayor que tu talla de pantalón.
Cómo medir tu talla de cinto
Método 1 (el más preciso): extiende un cinto que ya te quede bien y mide desde el doblez donde muere la hebilla hasta el agujero que usas siempre. Ese número en pulgadas es tu talla.
Método 2 (el más rápido): talla de pantalón más 2 pulgadas. Pantalón 32, cinto 34. Ojo: algunas marcas de pantalón tallan de cortesía; ante la duda usa el método 1.
Método 3: con el pantalón puesto, pasa una cinta métrica por las presillas, ajusta a tu gusto y lee el número. Elige esa talla o la inmediata superior.

Consejos de talla de cinto
- La regla del agujero central: un cinto bien tallado cierra en el agujero de en medio, con margen hacia los dos lados.
- Tallas mexicanas: muchas marcas mexicanas tallan directo en centímetros (85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110). Usa la columna de centímetros para convertir.
- Ancho vaquero: el estándar para hebilla intercambiable es 1 1/2 pulgadas (38 mm), compatible con nuestras hebillas.

How to measure your head
- Use a flexible sewing tape measure. If you do not have one, use a string and measure it against a ruler afterward.
- Wrap it around your head where a hat sits: one finger above your eyebrows and just above your ears.
- The tape should be snug but comfortable, never tight.
- Measure two or three times and keep the repeating number, in centimeters.

Hat sizing tips
- Between two sizes? Choose the larger one. A slightly roomy hat adjusts with a foam strip in the sweatband; a tight one has no comfortable fix.
- Mexican or American sizing? Same head, two systems: Mexico stamps sizes in centimeters (57, 58) and the US uses fractions (7 1/8, 7 1/4). Use the chart to convert.
- The fit test: the hat should sit firm one finger above your eyebrows, allow one finger between the sweatband and your forehead, and stay put when you shake your head.

Belt Size Guide
What the size means
A belt's size is the distance from the buckle fold to the center hole, not the total length of the piece. That is why your belt size is always larger than your pant size.
How to measure your belt size
Method 1 (most precise): lay flat a belt that already fits and measure from the fold where the buckle sits to the hole you always use. That number in inches is your size.
Method 2 (fastest): pant size plus 2 inches. Pants 32, belt 34. Note: some pant brands use vanity sizing; when in doubt, use method 1.
Method 3: with your pants on, run a tape measure through the belt loops, pull to your preferred snugness, and read the number. Choose that size or the next one up.
